On Wilson sisters: “Q’s a great leader. Her and her sisters like my daughters. I know their whole family and they really love me. I take them home and I do everything I can for them. Ricky was in the blood round last year and I think she's going to make the jump and go to state and she has opportunity to place this year.”

Fast fact: Quisiera Wilson can make school history by qualifying for state for the fourth time and becoming the school’s first three-time state placer.

Outlook: The Greyhounds are looking to repeat as district champions and have at least three girls qualify for state.

Notable returning wrestlers: Sydney Jones, So., 30-11, SQ, R2, DC.

What they are saying: “I think the whole girls program or trying to start one, it's been a little tricky, challenging here. I'm still looking for a true girls coach that wants to take the program and run with it and build it up. Unfortunately, we don't have that right now, and we've had some struggles with getting girls to come out and keeping them out. I say that only to a credit to the girls that we do have in our room because we don't run a separate practice, they're practicing with the boys. They're doing everything that I'm asking the boys to do and usually that means if you buy in and stick around, you're going to have success.”

On Sydney Jones: “She has been working her butt off. She’s lifting weights and doing all the things that all the boys are doing. She's loving it more than ever.”

Outlook: Jones leads a small group of girls that are immersed in the Jensen Beach program. She reached the state tournament as a freshman and will look to finish this year on a step on the podium.
