2A-13 Preview: Heritage looking to bounce back to the top after disappointing year
Kabra Wrestling Rankings are updated every week all season long for Kabra+ members.
Last season: Sebastian River outscored Heritage by 22.5 points to win a district title.
How did Kabra do?: We actually picked this district well, but we did whiff on Rockledge finishing in third.

What they are saying: “Last year's very young team is maturing. We have eight returning starters with winning records and either regional or state experience. The team is back to a nice mix of experience with some of last year's talented JV stepping in to give us a full lineup for the first time in 3 years.”
On bouncing back: “Respect is hard gained and easily lost and we had a really great run there of six years where we had some sort of championship culminating in a fifth place finish two years ago. And last year the wheels just fell off. I made some key coaching mistakes that I won't make again. This year, we're really excited. We've got a lot of young talent in the lineup. We've only got four seniors, and we're looking to earn that respect back.”
On the team’s attitude: “Our big thing is around one word right now, and that's unproven. We've got to go out and show ourselves that we know what we're doing and let the kids buy into the philosophies that we've introduced. Right now, they're super excited. Now, when we get punched in teeth, one good time, let's see what happens.”
Outlook: Heritage will be in the mix again this season with a young team developing into an experienced one. Look for the Panthers to return to a physical wrestling style as they get some grit back.
