1A-15 Preview: Top spot in the district looks wide open as season begins

Last season: SLAM Academy stretched its legs and pulled away for the school’s first-ever district title.
How did Kabra do?: We went in really blind in this district with very little information coming in, but we still picked the top three places in the IBT district correctly.

Wrestler to watch: Elijah Castanon (Miami Christian), Jason Ramirez (SLAM Miami), Juan Mars (Miami Central).
The favorite: Miami Central. This district looks like a toss-up, but we like the talent coming back to Central.
Team to watch: SLAM Miami. They’ve been a contender since they got here and that won’t stop this season.
District duals: Thursday, January 8 at SLAM Miami
