Head coaches

Belleview (From FHSAA Classifieds): Currently seeking applicants for the position of Head Boys Wrestling Coach. Applicants should have previous high school, intercollegiate, or professional coaching experience with head coaching or coordinator experience preferred. This position will be responsible for all areas of the Wrestling program including on-field coaching, fundraising, wrestling knowledge, community involvement and hiring assistant coaches as needed. Teaching position(s) may be available based on certification. Liberty (From FHSAA Classifieds): Is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to serve as the Head Wrestling Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a competitive wrestling program and play a vital role in the future of Liberty High School athletics. The Head Wrestling Coach will be responsible for all aspects of the program, promoting a culture of discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship. Key duties include developing and implementing training plans, match strategies, and strength and conditioning programs to prepare student-athletes for individual and team success. The coach will organize and lead practices, manage duals and tournaments, and oversee all team activities while ensuring athletes meet academic and eligibility requirements in accordance with FHSAA and the School District of Osceola County policies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience coaching wrestling at the high school level, with head coaching experience preferred. They must possess strong knowledge of wrestling techniques, athlete development, and tournament preparation. All candidates must meet FHSAA and SDOC requirements, including holding a valid 3- or 5-year Coaching Certificate, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, completion of required NFHS courses, and successful drug screening and background check. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Teaching and classified positions may be available for qualified candidates. Mitchell (From FHSAA Classifieds): We are looking for a motivated Head Coach that is looking to raise our program to higher levels, Prior experience running a program would be prefered but not mandatory. South Lake (From FHSAA Classifieds): Seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Wrestling Coach to join our athletics program. This is a unique opportunity to coach alongside a Hall of Fame head coach and gain valuable experience in a successful, tradition-rich wrestling program. The Assistant Coach will help plan and lead practices, support individual athlete development, and assist with meet preparation and team management. Ideal candidates will have a strong wrestling background, a passion for mentoring student-athletes, and the energy and commitment to contribute to a competitive and character-focused team culture. Prior coaching or wrestling experience is preferred. We have teaching positions available or if you are not in education you can be an off campus coach as well.
