1A-2 Preview: History making Florida High searching for more silverware
Florida High’s second state champion in school history is back to try to become the first two-time champion. Jasper Croom capped off a perfect 50-0 season with a state crown last year and he’s a favorite to repeat.

Last season: Florida High made school history, winning their first district title with a big performance. On the duals side, Wakulla topped Suwannee for the crown.
How did Kabra do?: We picked the Seminoles to win their first district title and they got the win to prove us right. The rest of our picks were just slightly off.

Team to watch: Suwannee. There will be a few holes to fill with just 56.8% of points possibly coming back, but we expect a challenge for the top from the Bulldogs.

On last year's success: "You show up and you put your best effort out there and you have a great attitude about it and just let the things happen how they will. Like everything that's supposed to happen is going to happen. But again, if you focus on yourself, your team, and everybody just trying to do their part, good things happen."
On Jasper: "He's just a natural competitor that that loves to compete and is not afraid. And this is a very difficult one especially for kids nowadays, but Jasper isn't afraid of failure. Jasper will put himself in a position that you would say to yourself 'Oh, that's not a good spot' but because he's been there so many times, he's comfortable in those situations."
