1A-14 Preview: Cardinal Gibbons queued up for first district title since 2024
Kabra Wrestling Rankings are updated every week all season long for Kabra+ members.
Last season: Eventually state champion Mater Lakes edged Cardinal Gibbons by 10.5 points in the IBT race and beat the Chiefs twice in the state duals playoffs. Gibbons made noise in the state tournament too with Michael Mocco finishing his historic career and younger brother Peter Mocco joining him at the top of the podium.
How did Kabra do?: We actually did okay here, picking the top two spots and not being more than one spot off on the rest of the district.

The favorite: Cardinal Gibbons. Mater Lakes has moved to Class 2A and the Chiefs have the younger Mocco and six more state qualifiers back in the room.
Team to watch: Coral Springs Charter. The Panthers graduated two leaders but could return 10 of 12 postseason wrestlers this season.
