#5 Pace
vs.
#10 Clay
2A-1 Region Final
All-Time region finals record | How they got here
Pace: 0-1, This is the second appearance for the Patriots.
The 2A-1 district champs blanked Lincoln and then beat Middleburg to reach the final.
Clay: 3-3, The Blue Devils reached the final in 2022.
The Blue Devils stymied New Smyrna Beach in a tight battle and then bested Beachside to book a ticket to Kissimmee.
Pace has quietly been dominating their side of the region and now will get to showcase its depth and talent in front of the state. They may be one of the top teams in Class 2A, we’ll see more this weekend. Clay is back again for its seventh region final. When the Blue Devils have a full and healthy lineup, they’re deep. The question is if they’ll have that this weekend.
While we are still learning about this Pace team, they keep on winning and winning big. Clay has the experience and chances to keep this close, but if Pace is able to win where it should, the Patriots will be celebrating their first trip to the state semifinals.

#9 Jensen Beach
vs.
#2 Somerset
2A-4 Region Final
All-Time region finals record | How they got here
Jensen Beach: 3-3, The Falcons have won two state duals title, in 2022 and 2023.
The Falcons bowled over Sebastian River and Heritage.
Somerset: 5-1, The Panthers won the state duals title in 2021 and 2024. Somerset is 3-0 against Jensen Beach at the state duals.
The 2A-16 district champions defeated Dillard and Mater Academy to earn a trip back to Kissimmee.
Jensen Beach is in the middle of a youth movement and they’re bubbling under with potential. Somerset is built for dual success and enters the weekend as one of the favorites for a state title. The Panthers could send out a Top 16 ranked wrestler in nearly every weight class in Kissimmee.
Somerset is one of the teams to beat in Class 2A and a trip the finals seems like a minimum goal for the Panthers.

#3 Jesuit
vs.
#1 Lake Gibson
3A-2 Region Final
All-Time region finals record | How they got here
Jesuit: 4-2, The Tigers have reached the finals after all four of their region titles, winning a state title in 2020 and 2025.
The defending state champion Tigers beat Springstead and River Ridge for the second consecutive season.
Lake Gibson: 6-2, Lake Gibson’s only region final losses have come to Jesuit. The Braves have won the state title after all six of their region titles.
Lake Gibson breezed past Edgewater and Auburndale.
These two teams never disappoint in Kissimmee and again we get one of the duals of the weekend on Friday night. Tampa Jesuit used their win last season in this dual to springboard to a state title. The winner of this one will again be looking to finish the weekend with the trophy.
There isn’t a wrong answer to picking this dual because both teams can make the argument as to why they’ll win it. With each team tough at all 14 weight classes and the margin for error so small, this one could come down to the coin flip and starting weight. Without knowing the answer to those questions ahead of time, we’ll go with Lake Gibson by the slimmest of margins.

#11 Braden River
vs.
#4 Charlotte
2A-3 Region Final
All-Time region finals record | How they got here
Braden River: 0-1, This is the second straight appearance for the Pirates.
The 2A-9 champions defeated Parrish to punch a return ticket to Kissimmee.
Charlotte: 3-5, The Tarpons have reached the region final in all nine seasons of the state duals, making it to the finals in 2019 and 2025.
Charlotte toppled Napes and Riverdale to reach its ninth region final.
Charlotte finds itself in familiar territory, as the Tarpons are making their ninth appearance in nine years in the region final. This will be a repeat of last year’s region final as Braden River has emerged as the team to beat in its half of the region duals.
A second straight appearance in Kissimmee for Braden River shows how consistently good the program has become, but they’ll be facing one of the top teams in Class 2A yet again in the region final and Charlotte is loaded again this season.
